Dr. Vigil grew up in the Austin area and has always had a passion for animals. She attended Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, and then headed to the Caribbean to attend Ross University Veterinary School. Her clinical year was spent at Texas A&M University where she developed her interest in small animals and non-avian exotics. After graduating, she moved back to the Austin area and practiced for four years with Banfield. She then spent a year specializing in hospice and at home euthanasia. She is now back at the Banfield Cedar Park Cypress location. Dr. Vigil and her husband have two dogs including an American Staffordshire named Bowser and an American bulldog/Australian shepherd mix named Dakota; two flame point cats, one that is diabetic named Pumpkin and a Caribbean one named Ziggy; and a bearded dragon lizard named Puff.
