Dr. Winters has been the chief of staff at our hospital since we opened in 2015. She received her DVM degree from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and after graduation, she started as an associate veterinarian at the Columbia Banfield. Her passion is preventive care, and believes pets are our family and keeping them healthy by catching diseases early and protecting them against preventable diseases is incredibly important to ensuring we have as much time with them as possible. Other special interests include dentistry and internal medicine. Work life balance is incredibly important to Dr. Winters as she has four children and loves to spend time with them and her husband. Their family is rounded out by their three dogs and three cats. She also enjoys running with her German shepherd, water-skiing, and cooking.
